OKC Natural Gas Explosion

In response to a natural gas explosion in NW OKC on January 2nd, the City of Oklahoma City Emergency Management has referred homeowners and volunteers to Serve Moore to get and give help.

So far, we've been in touch with a few affected families and know that volunteers will be needed at some point. We will be certain to allow the families time to process their needs before we assemble teams to respond.

Immediate Needs

We know the following will be needed at some point:

  • Plastic Storage Tubs
  • New Moving Boxes
  • Clear Packing Tape
  • New Leather Gloves
  • Heavy Duty Lawn Bags (for collecting debris)

Donate supplies by dropping them off at Serve Moore HQ or calling to arrange for pickup. Contact info & address here.

If you'd like to volunteer to help, give us your info and when we build teams, we'll reach out.

If your home was damaged, tell us what you need and we will begin working on a solution.

Interested in this kind of grassroots disaster response continuing? Donate to make it possible!
